Crispy crackers without the grains or the gluten, and with a lot more nutrition thanks to a leavening of the green superfoods spirulina and dulse (sea lettuce). To make the crackers, Kitz activates organic flax and sunflower seeds by soaking them overnight in cool, filtered water before blending in the greens and a batch of garden herbs. After a gentle period of drying at low temperatures, they have a snappy crunch and a mildly oceanic flavour that goes well with cheese, creamy dips, and (of course) seafood. Because they’re grain-free, they’re low in carbohydrates; and they contain no dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy, sesame, cane sugar or yeast.
